- Wanderers looking to record back-to-back victories in the league for the first time since March 2012.
- BWFC: Bogdan, Mears, Knight, Dawson, Alonso, Spearing, Pratley, M Davies, Chung-Yong, De Ridder, K Davies
- Mark Davies makes his first appearance since December. Skipper Kevin Davies also restored to side. Eagles and Sordell out.
4:59pm
Apologies - Craig Davies for the goal. Was too busy stressing over the computer and the internet!!
4:56pm
Match report up soon with all the details.
4:55pm
All over. 1-1. Credit for holding on there.
4:52pm
Craig Davies booked for dissent
4:49pm
Five mins added time to hold out.
4:49pm
Forest really turning the screw.
4:44pm
Henderson heads just wide for Forest.
4:42pm
Checking on who the foul was against, but looked from here as if the full-back did lunge in a bit. Big test just got bigger.
4:40pm
Alonso sent off for a second bookable offence.
4:36pm
GET IN!!! Craig davies taps home from close range after Ngog has raced on to a lovely ball from Pratley and delivered from the right.
4:36pm
GOAL Eagles
4:31pm
Ngog on for Kevin Davies.
4:30pm
Alonso booked for a foul right on the edge of the box. Looks like it was on Cox.
4:27pm
Huge test for Wanderers now. Point would look great from here.
4:26pm
Good ball from Eagles to find Craig Davies. He rather scuffed his shot on the turn, which was then held by Darlow.
4:25pm
Craig Davies now on for Chungy.
4:24pm
Massive chance for Wanderers, missed by Kevin Davies. Cohen played a blind back pass, and as the skipper tried to get round Darlow, the Forest keeper stuck out an arm to grab the ball.
4:19pm
Huge blow, as Wanderers looked to have stemmed the tide.
4:18pm
It opened up for Andy Reid on the edge of the box, and he drilled a low shot - possibly via a deflection - into the bottom corner.
4:17pm
Forest score.
4:17pm
Eagles on for De Ridder
4:15pm
Halford booked, foul on Kevin Davies
4:14pm
DF has called for Eagles. Looks like he's coming on.
4:10pm
What a block that was by Pratley. Lansbury had got through two challenges and his shot would definitely have tested Bogdan.
4:09pm
Mark Davies booked, foul on Cohen
4:08pm
Reid curls a free kick towards goal, plucked acrobatically out of the air by Bogdan.
4:06pm
Mark Davies half volleys over the top - Wanderers' first real chance of the game.
4:05pm
24,409 attendance today
1,514 away fans
4:04pm
Bit of a battle getting through the crowds back to the press box, but I made it. Just about to start.
4:03pm
@MarcIles Possible changes at half time? We've offered very little so far.
— @HarryCraigson 16 February 2013
4:02pm
@MarcIles Sounds like Bogdan is keeping it at 0-0 at the moment. Improvement needed by #bwfc in the second half
— @JKbwfc 16 February 2013
4:02pm
@MarcIles I think the quality of our bench will see us through today - big 2nd half , 3 points to the whites .
— @kidsbargains 16 February 2013
3:47pm
Well, it hasn't been a classic. Bogdan much the busier keeper and has kept Wanderers in it so far with three or four really good saves.
Only real danger Wanderers have posed has been through set pieces and Craig Dawson.
Goalless at the break.
3:45pm
Came to nothing, which is a shame. Two added mins to play.
3:45pm
Free kick given against Halford for foul on Mark Davies in the corner. Odd one.
3:42pm
Freedman will be happy at 0-0, no doubt about it. Bogdan very much the man of the half so far.
3:40pm
Great run from Alonso halted at the last minute by Halford. Rare foray into enemy territory for the Spaniard.
3:38pm
Forest putting Wanderers under pressure again. Silly foul just given away by Alonso.
3:36pm
Mears booked. Foul on Cohen.
3:36pm
Pitch is terrible. Again.
3:34pm
Bogdan to the rescue again. This time saving low down from Cox after he has beaten Knight on the edge of the box.
3:33pm
Majewski fires another shot at goal that moves all over the place. Bogdan parries it away.
3:31pm
Dawson such a threat from set pieces. A few of us annoyed at not putting anything on him for first goalscorer.
3:30pm
Fifteen mins remaining in the half and we've not seen much of Wanderers in an attacking sense. De Ridder and Mark Davies have had a couple of runs, but little else.
3:29pm
Wondered what the wi-fi problems were, then noticed that Trevor Boxter (MEN) was downloading a new sat nav. Cheek!
3:27pm
Wanderers need some possession. It has been mostly Forest so far.
3:26pm
Stop in play for an injury and there has been an american football style huddle for tactics in both technical areas. Every player involved barring keepers and the man down on the turf.
3:24pm
Nervous moments now.
3:24pm
Swerving shot from Reid just about dealt with by Bogdan.
3:24pm
Wanderers fans making themselves heard. Doing a grand job behind Bogdan's goal - and to be fair, Bogdan doing a good job in it.
3:22pm
Don't want to be doing that all afternoon! Forest still making most of the headway.
3:21pm
Hopefully a reboot has sorted me out??
3:21pm
Wi Fi problems....
3:14pm
Just spotted Julian Darby venturing into the technical area. Must be an odd day for him.
3:13pm
Ball drops invitingly for Lansbury on the edge of the box but he drags a shot well wide.
3:11pm
Scampering run from Mark Davies. Missed those.
3:09pm
@MarcIles holdens brother just put on twitter that it is ther fathers 4 year anniversary today so that maybe y stuey aint in squad.
— @lank147 16 February 2013
3:09pm
Spearing took it, and Dawson had a swipe. Blocked well by Ward. Another corner.
3:08pm
First corner of the game for Wanderers.
3:08pm
Pressure from Forest. Shout for handball as Reid shot cannons off Mears, but too far away for me to see whether there was anything in it.
3:06pm
Bogdan showed up there. Two very good saves low down. Quick reactions.
3:04pm
Great double save from Bogdan - first from Lansbury, then from Majewski.
3:04pm
Forest making much of the early running. One decent run from De Ridder (poor cross, though) to show for Wanderers.
3:02pm
Around 1,200 Wanderers fans behind Adam Bogdan's goal. Just saw an important early header from Alonso to clear Ward's cross.
3:00pm
And we're off!
3:00pm
Mull of Kintyre ringing out. Big Beatles fan but never cared much for Wings.
2:59pm
@MarcIles There seems to be a quiet confidence about BWFC since the Burnley game. Is this a vibe you've picked up on this week and today?
— @njcoleman79 16 February 2013
2:58pm
@MarcIles u ever thought of becoming are manager because you prob have a better idea.
— @lank147 16 February 2013
2:58pm
@MarcIles KD in the line up to rough up the Forest back line and give mavies room to score??
— @LeroyAlfonse 16 February 2013
2:58pm
@MarcIles in my opinion we're too far back to launch a playoff challenge. We need to make sure we stay up more than anything else
— @JKbwfc 16 February 2013
2:57pm
I know Pratley's goal was at the Liberty and not here at the City Ground, by the way. But why let the facts....?
2:56pm
Davies says last time he was here was the play-off semis. Didn't end well for him... a certain Mr Darren Pratley made sure of that!
2:55pm
Davies talking to the Forest fans via the big screen. Billed as King William by the man on the tannoy...
2:51pm
Decent crowd expected today. Saw it billed as a sell-out, but there are huge gaps either side of the away supporters for safety, so won't be anywhere near capacity.
2:48pm
@MarcIles what kit we wearing today?
— @jontymac24 16 February 2013
2:47pm
Just a pointer to anyone tweeting me or leaving comments, I'm not going to respond to anything that abuses players or that has swearing in it. Feel free to be critical, no problem with that, but let's be fair too.
2:45pm
@MarcIles let us know how mavies looks throughout game
— @GarethHulme 16 February 2013
2:44pm
Stu was down to travel with the squad. Will ask if there's any underlying reason for him not being in the 18 but suspect the club are still being careful.
2:42pm
For the record, I said we'd tell for certain at 5.15pm next Saturday. Next three games against Forest, Derby and Hull are vital.
2:40pm
Discussion in the car on the way down generally centred on whether Wanderers had left it too late for a play-off push. What do you think??
2:34pm
Mark Davies back in the side for the first time since the Huddersfield Town game in December. Great to see him back.
2:33pm
Hopefully not individually. That would take ages.
2:31pm
Just been told that Billy Davies will be addressing everyone prior to kick off.
2:25pm
Was about to praise the pre-match music at the City Ground but now find my ears assaulted by Gangnam Style...
2:22pm
Seems to be a bit of confusion about the Forest line-up... Cohen down to play at left-back and no subs announced yet.
2:18pm
Was having an easy time of it on the radio there until Phil Brown chipped in with a hand grenade question about relegation... I'll be mentioning that on the journey home!!
2:16pm
@MarcIles surprised that Sordell has been dropped but otherwise it's a decent line up on paper. Sadly though games aren't won on paper.
— @JKbwfc 16 February 2013
2:16pm
@MarcIles It's a bold move from Dougie starting with SKD. Having said that its probably the strongest bench I've seen for a long time.
— @shrootfarmbeets 16 February 2013
2:16pm
So... No Eagles, No Sordell, but Mark Davies gets his first start since December and Kevin Davies returns to the starting line-up.
2:15pm
Nottingham Forest: Darlow, Jara, Ward, Halford, Cohen, Lansbury, Guedioura, Majewski, Reid, Cox, Sharp
2:14pm
BWFC team: Bogdan, Mears, Knight, Dawson, Alonso, Spearing, Pratley, M Davies, Chung-Yong, De Ridder, K Davies
Subs: Lonergan, Wheater, Ricketts, Ngog, C Davies, Sordell, Eagles
1:58pm
It will probably be similar nonsense to the stuff on this timeline, to be honest.
1:57pm
Going to head up to see Jack Dearden at his radio point in a moment. May go quiet for 10 minutes. But you could always tune in to BBC Manchester and hear what I've got to say!
1:56pm
@MarcIles do you think kamara or anyone returning from injury will feature today?
— @JKbwfc 16 February 2013
1:55pm
@MarcIles Hoping for gd team selection and performance,2-1 win but as we seen this yr godknows whats gona happen!!!!
— @glenn_ashworth 16 February 2013
1:55pm
Dougie Freedman scored 23 goals in 83 appearances for Forest between August 1998 and October 2000.
1:51pm
Spontaneous applause from outside the press room door as Billy Davies arrives. No so inside the press room, where the TV, radio and written journos have just found out that he'll be doing just one press conference.
1:46pm
@MarcIles I'm in a nearby pub want me to bring you a pint?
— @tomlinn84 16 February 2013
1:44pm
Just four points between the two sides at start of play. Wanderers have a game in hand too.
1:37pm
@MarcIles Any news on this potential Spanish winger on loan you mentioned just before the transfer window closed?
— @njcoleman79 16 February 2013
1:35pm
Forest owner Fawaz al Hasawi describes Billy Davies as "the best manager in the Championship."
1:32pm
@MarcIles on way to Notts, optimistic about the game today, hoping its not another false dawn! 3-1 to the Wanderers
— @ian_halliwell 16 February 2013
1:32pm
@MarcIles probably coz we somehow won last week and have strongest squad in ages. I think a draw would be a good result, 1-1
— @LufbraCraig 16 February 2013
1:31pm
@MarcIles I think the play-offs are out of reach, but I'm hoping for a good run at the end of this season to take momentum into next season
— @BWFC_Flakt 16 February 2013
1:31pm
@MarcIles Following from Khao Lak in Thailand. Why do I have a positive outlook on the match. We won last week therefore lose today, surely ;)
— @cpbishop 16 February 2013
1:30pm
But will Eagles play today? Answers on a postcard.
1:30pm
Another thing that struck me in the programme - who's the Wanderers player with the most shots on and off target, assists, crosses and free-kicks won?
Answer: Chris Eagles
1:28pm
Zat Knight adds his voice to those who think Wanderers can still make a promotion push, saying in the matchday programme today: "We've got six games in the next three weeks and that means there are a lot of points on offer over a short space of time. If we can put in a big push now, you never know where that might take us."
1:21pm
No escaping the history around the City Ground. Giant pictures everywhere of all the victorious teams down the years. But the modern day Forest welcome their fourth manager of the season today in Billy Davies. It has been a strange old season at this famous old club.
1:19pm
The future looks bright, but there are plenty of questions yet to be answered in the present - and though all the talk this week has been of catching the play-off places, let's not forget there is still only a three-point gap to the bottom three! Crazy.
1:18pm
First of all a big congratulations to David Lee, Tony Kelly and the magnificent Under-18s for their 8-4 win over Tottenham in the FA Youth Cup last night. Marvellous start to the weekend.
1:17pm
Good afternoon everyone. Bright and sunny here in Nottingham, and judging by some of your pre-match predictions, there's more than a hint of optimism about today's trip.

Do agree Bogdan has had his chances, though according to GMR he's made five great saves - so should be 5-0 then?.
Always concerned when I hear Dougie Freedman speak,I do think he should talk less.
He has recently made great play of how he wants Bolton to dominate games through possession, whereas any one realises possession means nothing if you don't create,as i write this sky reported Bolton have had 65% possession with no shots while Forest have had three.
