WANDERERS will be roared on in Sunday’s derby at Wigan Athletic by more than 4,000 fans – and counting!

The club has reported a huge uptake of tickets ahead of the first visit to the DW Stadium in just over two years and are now down to their last few hundred tickets.

Wigan expect the gate to approach 20,000 in total as the home fans prepare to welcome new manager Uwe Rosler for his first game in charge.

But it is not yet known whether they will make a small number of tickets available on the turnstiles.

Wanderers will keep tickets on sale until Saturday lunchtime and have urged supporters to purchase them as early as possible in order to avoid disappointment.
