Bolton Wanderers' new loan signing Lukas Jutkiewicz made his debut last night against QPR - here is everything you need to know about the Whites' new striker.

1 – Despite his Polish ancestry and name, Jutkiewicz was actually born in Southampton, playing at the Saints Academy until the age of 13. He is also a lifelong fan of the St Mary’s men.

2 – In May 2010, Jutkiewicz was involved in the highest scoring draw of all time in Scottish football – scoring the last goal of an amazing 6-6 draw between his club Motherwell and Hibernian. His scissor-kick effort was described as “Marco van Basten-like” by manager Craig Brown.

3 – The young striker thought he had landed a dream move to Everton in May 2007 but his spell at Goodison Park proved a frustrating one, with just one substitute appearance in the Premier League, against Sunderland, at Christmas 2008.

4- The 24-year-old goes by the nickname “The Juke” and can also be found on Twitter @Lukeyjuke.

5 – Jutkiewicz attended the Mountbatten School in Hampshire. Notable other alumni include gardening expert Charlie Dimmock.

6 – Jutkiewicz could play internationally for England, where he was born, Poland or the Republic of Ireland, through his grandparents.

7 – After scoring against Blackburn last season, Jutkiewicz hit the headlines for celebrating like WWE wrestler John Cena. The striker spoiled the party by rejecting the stories on Twitter the next day.

8 – Jutkiewicz’s birthday of March 28 is shared by Lady Gaga, Nick Frost, Julia Stiles and Vince Vaughan.

9 – Jutkiewicz’s favourite band is Jack’s Mannequin – a California rock outfit who split up in 2012.

10 – The striker has two middle names – Isaac and Paul.
