LONG serving Wanderers promotions manager Andrew Dean was honoured by the club’s official supporters group this week.
Dean was given the prestigious Dave Higson award for his services to the club at the BWSA’s end-of-season soiree.
A popular stalwart of the club, Dean started work at Wanderers in the Burnden Park days and has helped raise vital funds through such schemes as Lifeline and Goldline.
He has also been a vital link to former players – maintaining contact with many stars after they left Burnden and the Reebok down the years.
