WANDERERS are not looking at a loan deal for Manchester City striker John Guidetti.

The Bolton News understands reports yesterday linking the Whites with a season-long move for the Swedish 22-year-old are wide of the mark.

Guidetti is a Sweden international but has spent most of his time at the Etihad Stadium out on loan at clubs including Burnley, Feyenoord and Stoke last season.

City are reportedly keen to keep hold of the young forward but open to a loan to get him regular first-team games.

But the Whites are not thought to be in the running with boss Dougie Freedman stressing at the end of last season he wanted to look to more permanent deals and less loan signings.

Meanwhile, it is also believed there is no interest from the Whites in released Crystal Palace defender Dean Moxey at present.

Freedman knows the left-back well after his time in charge at Selhurst Park and did enquire about taking the 28-year-old on loan in February but was rebuffed in his attempts.

Moxey has now been released by the Eagles but it does not appear Wanderers have renewed their interest as yet, despite speculation linking them with a renewed approach.
