WANDERERS will kick off the 2014/15 campaign with an away game against Watford on August 9.
The fixtures for next season, which were announced at 9am today, will see Dougie Freedman’s men meet Nottingham Forest at home seven days later at the newly-named Macron Stadium followed by Brighton away on August 23.
Wanderers will play six Lancashire derbies next season, the first coming against Wigan Athletic at home on November 8, while the festive period will see the Whites meet Blackburn on Boxing Day at home with Huddersfield away two days later.
And if Wanderers are battling for promotion at the end of the season, the town’s sporting spotlight will be on the home game with Birmingham on the final day of the regular season.
