KEITH Andrews is expected to complete a season-long loan move to Watford later today.

The former Republic of Ireland international has 12 months left on his contract at Wanderers but has been told he does not feature in Dougie Freedman’s first team plans.

While the move is expected to be a loan - which would mean he will not be eligible to face the Whites on August 9 - there is still a chance he will agree a permanent arrangement, which means he could line-up for the Hornets.

Andrews, pictured, spent last season on loan at Brighton and had been strongly linked with Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town in the last few weeks.

The 34-year-old made 29 appearances in one full season for the Whites and scored four goals.
