LIVERPOOL are not in discussions to sign Gary Cahill, The Bolton News understands.
Several reports have this morning claimed that the Merseyside club had agreed a fee for Wanderers' England international, with some adding that French striker David N'gog could also be included as a makeweight in the deal.
But sources have denied this afternoon that any negotiations have taken place, and the 25-year-old is set to start the season opener against QPR at Loftus Road.
