OWEN Coyle wants a shot at Wembley redemption and is ready to recall Ivan Klasnic, Fabrice Muamba and Marcos Alonso to get the job done at cup favourites Spurs.

Wanderers are ready to make a handful of changes for tomorrow’s FA Cup quarter-final at White Hart Lane, with one eye on Tuesday night’s vital Premier League clash at Aston Villa.

Klasnic is to be rewarded for last weekend’s winner against QPR, while fit-again Alonso is likely to come in for Sam Ricketts in defence.

Muamba is also understood to be in line for a recall but Coyle insists he is not risking a second successive appearance in the semis by altering the team that beat QPR last weekend.

“If we bring one or two players in, it’s not as if they have never played for Bolton Wanderers,” he said. “They will be international players or players of calibre. It takes nothing away from our team.

“I have got some very good players who are champing at the bit. You only have to look at last Saturday and the lads who came off the bench.

“Yes, we have a big game on Tuesday, But off the back of it, our objective is to be in the semi-final of the FA Cup.”

Although the task of gaining a first-ever FA Cup victory at Spurs is a considerable one, the incentive of another appearance at Wembley is what Coyle hopes will drive his players to spring a shock on Harry Redknapp’s Champions League chasing side.

“We did marvellously to get to Wembley last year considering some of the away ties we had against top flight clubs,” he said. “And of course, we were disappointed with the semi-final.

“We want to go back and do ourselves justice. We didn’t on that day, and there’s no getting away from that. We’ve got to get past the favourites for the competition and it doesn’t get tougher than that - but I’ve been an underdog many times and come out the other side of it.”

Chris Eagles is a major doubt for Wanderers after struggling this week with a hamstring injury, while Coyle also revealed that Tyrone Mears was back in training after surgery to remove screws in a fractured leg.
