JUSSI Jaaskelainen has turned down a two-year deal at Wanderers.

The Big Finn, who has been at the Reebok since 1997 and made more than 500 appearances, has told the club that he wants to find first team football elsewhere after dropping behind Adam Bogdan last season.

West Ham would appear to be in the driving seat for his signature after Rob Green indicated he would not be signing a new contract at Upton Park.

But West Brom have also made contact with Jaaskelainen’s agent, meaning the 37-year-old is likely to return to the Premier League next term.
