A MAN'S body was discovered this morning near a busy retail park.
The man, thought to be in his 30s, was found in bushes near to Bolton Gate Retail Park near to the junction of Turton Street and St Peter’s Way.
The body was discovered at 11.15 am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and ambulance crews notified the police.
The area was cordoned off.
Bolton CID have launched an investigation in to the death.
A post-mortem will be carried out on the body to establish the cause of the death.
A police spokesman said: “A body of a man has been found and police enquires are on going.”
