Tom Jones has revealed that Catherine Zeta-Jones gave birth to her first child to the strains of one of his greatest hits.
The singer, starring as a coach on the hit BBC1 talent show The Voice, meets another fan on the show when would-be star Chris Grixti tells him he believes he was conceived to What's New Pussycat.
Sir Tom said: "People have said that to me a few times, that children have been conceived while my music has been played.
"But I think one of my biggest compliments that I had was when Catherine Zeta-Jones was giving birth to her first child, she had to have What's New Pussycat on the radio, so as soon as she started to have to push, she said 'Put Tom on and I'll push'."
Another of the contenders is one of Amy Winehouse's best friends.
Tyler James, a 30-year-old singer-songwriter from London, performs a version of Otis Redding's (Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay.
He tells the judges that he and the Back To Black singer were "like two halves of the same person".
He said: "Unfortunately last summer, worst day of my life, Amy died and my whole life changed.
"Now she's here with me, I know that, but it's about me finding my own feet and the only way for me that I'm ever going to find that is through music, through singing. This competition is about me building up my confidence for myself.
"It is very important to me, very. There's a lot riding on this."
