GARY Megson hopes Gary Cahill and Kevin Davies can take out their international frustration on West Ham tomorrow.
The in-form Wanderers pair were called into Fabio Capello’s ‘long squad’ of 32 before last week’s friendly with Spain only to be excluded from the final squad that was beaten 2-0 in Seville.
Megson has backed his uncapped stars to eventually make the breakthrough – and has urged them both to show the England boss he was wrong when the Hammers come to the Reebok this weekend.
“We were disappointed that they weren’t involved in the main squad,” the Whites boss said.“All they can do is keep putting in the work, as they have been doing,”
