GAVIN McCann has sounded an early derby battle cry.
The midfielder has called for Wanderers to end their eight-and-half-year wait for a home win against rivals Blackburn.
The old enemies go head-to-head after the international break on October 18 with Bolton long overdue a Reebok victory.
And the combative McCann has urged his team-mates to build on the triumph at West Ham last weekend against the Ewood Park outfit.
“We needed a win going into the international break and if we can get another three points against Blackburn then we’ll jump up the table,” said the 30-year-old.
