Give us one last big performance, Diouf

GARY Megson has challenged El-Hadji Diouf to sign off in style at the Reebok tomorrow.

The Senegal striker is set to quit Wanderers at the end of the season, but could still play a key role on the club's battle for Premiership survival.

"I'm sure Diouffy will want to go out on a real high, which maybe will be a boost for us," Megson said.

Diouf recently announced his intention to quit the Reebok whichever division they were in next season.

Diouf knows what's at stake on Saturday. Mr Megson must give him a full match, and Diouf will do the business. I'm sure he'll score. He owes us a brace.

Bolton Wanderers rescued this guy when nobody else would touch him. He was as popular as toxic waste. I wish him well for the future but if any person owed a debt to a club it is him and it is time he repaid that debt by playing the game of his life and to keep Bolton up.

End of story!

is he going out of contract, been many poorer than dioufy this season, his partnership with annelka worked, if your work partner bogged off because your boss wasnt ambitious you'd be dissalusioned, hand on heart i still think he's playing ok, funny how poor we are without him on the park, could play stelios more, however megson clearly wants rid of both, pattern emerging 'skill and flair'

diouf and stelios are our only players the other clubs round us would gladly take off our hands because they add an element of skill to our team. i have absolutely no idea why they arent playing at such a crucial stage of the season. it should be them 2 with davies in the middle tomorrow. someone should tell megson that to win you have to score

How come: "I'm sure Diouffy will want to go out on a real high, which maybe will be a boost for us," Megson said. Has he already signed for another club? If he's still contracted to us and bwfc don't agree a deal with anybody else then he'll still be here next season - won't he?

IF BIG SAM WAS HERE DIOUFY YOU WOULD STAY AT THE CLUB I ONLY HOPE THAT WHEN YOU GO YOU WILL BE IN THE FIRST TEAM EVERY WEEK GOOD LOOK DIOUFY AND THANK YOU B.W.F.C.

I hope Dioufy gives us one big last one too, and that we don't boo him when he returns to the 'bok. Let's face it, if where we worked the management were a bunch of unambitious plonkers and your manager was an arsehole, you'd surely change employer right?! Get at 'em Dioufy and thanks for the memories.

After the game tomorrow stick two fingers up to E Davies, P Gartside, G Megson and the board after all the deceit and lies over the season just dont renew your season ticket till one or all are gone THE CLUB NEEDS A NEW SRART and it begins at the top

Mugson's own comments are

Diouf does have an ability to change games just by a move on the ball or seeing a pass and he give you something out of the ordinary. It is a rare talent

Any reason why Rasiak starts then. Doh it must be me then....

Come on you Whites....

El Hadji Diouf is the last of a string of star players we have had over the years in the premiership, very sad to see him go and I am sure the lad will get a great send off - all we want now are players to replace the star players - because lets face it, they sell season tickets because of their entertainment value.

Keep the Diouf
