Expenses: Time to prosecute all MPs

THE CPS is only taking to court, as yet, three MPs and a Peer in the expenses scandal — marvellous. Why not all of the MPs who have paid money back? Would I get away with it if I walked out of shop without paying, getting caught and saying, ‘OK you’ve caught me, so now I'll pay?’ I don’t think so.

It just goes to show what a farce this is. Maybe these politicians will tell the court about the innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes. Sir Thomas Legg accused senior figures of being obsessed with feathering their nests.

Basically, their expense system is an open door for legal fiddling.

It would not surprise me to see them walk free because of the legal loop hole in the system, which gives them immunity, which previous politicians created.

Are they above the law because of this? If this were me, like anybody else, I’d be hung, slung and quartered.

I think the real question now is, why do we need MPs when we are run by the EU? These and previous MPs have virtually given control of this country to the EU. They have sold off nearly all of our industries to private companies overseas. That’s why we are a lost nation of shopkeepers and traders.

Where are our industries?

Same place as the once, “Great” in Britain, gone. They have allowed the law and justice system to become laughable, because they’re frightened of the “do-gooders” and so-called “human rights groups”. Maybe that’s why they’ve over claimed, expecting to get away with it, which most of them have.

They are crying their so-called innocence like spoilt children; you only need to watch on TV how they behave in Parliament. They are worse than children in an infants school. These people are supposed to be highly educated and all they can do is slag each other off, instead of trying to sort out the mess that they have got us into.
