CHERYL Cole apparently has the body that most of us think is perfect.
Most of the people, anyway, who voted in a poll to find Britain's "favourite fantasy body".
I am all for day-dreaming and I know that someone with such a pretty face, fabulous clothes and footballer husband is bound to prove an object of envy, yes, even fantasy.
But I can't help thinking that her "lollipop look" with a coiffed head on such a tiny body is not a healthy role model for today's young girls.
She may be a glamorous singer, her group Girls Aloud may be national style icons and she may well be getting even more national profile now as a judge on the X Factor but, personally, I'm a fan of the Lily Allen style school.
She's slim without being too skinny, enjoys life (sometimes too much but then we all go mad occasionally) and seems to have a positive approach to life.
Of course, now that opinion has been passed by a middle-aged, untrendy mother, the average teen would rather eat her own mascara than quote Lily as a "favourite fantasy body".
