MARIE Curie nurses do an amazing job for local residents at a traumatic time in their lives.
These specially trained individuals go into homes when people are suffering from cancer and not only help them but also provide endless support for the families.
Anyone who has had to care for a terminally ill relative at home knows just what sort of a lifeline this is.
The Bolton News has now joined forces with Marie Curie Cancer Care to raise £200,000 to fund more nurses in Bolton. If the target is reached, the money will be matched by the NHS.
Most people’s budgets are stretched to the limit these days, but please support this excellent campaign if you can.
You never know just when you, or someone you love, might need the help of these remarkable medics, and then you will know that the service is priceless.
