Dr JANET BISSET Remembered by many as Dr Janet, died peacefully at the Royal Bolton Hospital on Sunday 28 July 2019, aged 92. Beloved wife of the late Dr H W Bisset, and mother of Christine, David, and Robert. A much loved grandmother to 8, and great grandmother to 6. The funeral will be held at St Maxentius Church, Bradshaw at 11.15am on Friday 9th August 2019. All enquires to Shaws Funeralcare, 20, Park Street, Bolton Tel 01204 526218.

On behalf of my mother Iris who was Dr Janet and Dr Bissets housekeeper for many years. Sorry for your loss, she was a lovely lady and my mum has fond memories of her. Sorry she could not be there today.

Dr. Janet was always a very caring General Practitioner.She took the time to listen and properly diagnose. A really good family doctor and I had much confidence in her diagnostic abilities from the 1960s and 1970s which is when I was her patient in the surgery in Bradshaw. Sadly modern GPs could take a lesson from her professional approach.
