GEORGE BURNS Died peacefully on Wednesday 2nd October in Royal Bolton Hospital aged 90 years. Beloved husband to Margaret and much loved father of John and Paul. Grandfather, Great-grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Father-in-law, Grandfather-in law, Great-uncle and friend to many. Funeral service to be held on Monday 14th October in The Salvation Army Citadel, Bolton, at 11:30am, followed by Committal at Overdale Crematorium at 1:15pm. Family flowers only. Donations can be made in George's memory via the family, (cheques made out to Paul Burns please) to support the work of the Stroke Unit at Royal Bolton Hospital and The Salvation Army campaign to aid the victims of Modern Slavery.
