JOHN HAMER Peacefully at home on 6th January 2020, John aged 73 years. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Paula). Loved father of Gary and Stephen. Much loved father-in-law of Jacqueline. Dearly loved brother-in- law. Cherished grandad of Michael, Nathan, Naomi, Ryan and Sian. Great grandad of Annabelle. John will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. Funeral service will take place on Friday 17th January 2020 in Overdale Crematorium West Chapel at 4.00pm. Family flowers only by request, donations in memory to Derbyshire Park Bowling Club (cheques made payable to the charity) c/o the family. All loving thoughts and sincere condolences to Paula,Gary,Stephen and familes on the sad passing of John. We will remember John in so many ways.Not least of all, the happy family holidays we shared in Cornwall and the night we all took part in the "TRAMPS NIGHT". Add to that ,Ian's special memorys of John's rendition of Elvis!!!!!!!! And I'm sure Paula and I share somewhat "painful" memories of New year's day at the fair----John and Eric together staying behind, probably nursing just as painful reminders of the New Year's Eve .
Such happy memories that will remain with us

With heartfelt and sincere condolences to Paula,Stephen and Gary and all the family.We will remember John for the many happy times we spent together ,especially the holidays in Cornwall and the"tramps night", Ian in particular recalls John's rendition of Elvis songs .So many memories to be thankful for.God Bless you all and may you rest in everlasting peace John.
