AMANDA JOAN WOOD aged 58, died peacefully on 30th March 2020 at St Anne's Hospice, Little Hulton. Much loved sister, sister in law, aunt and friend to many and she will be greatly missed by all. A service will be held on 9th April 2020 at Overdale crematorium for immediate family only. Any donations in memory of Amanda, can be made to St Anne's Hospice, Little Hulton . Any enquires to To Bromley's funeral care 01204 302000.

To one of the most inspirational, brave, fun, tough ex boss and friend. Amanda taught many of us excellent nursing skills and extended this role to always having a blast on a peanut ward night out ! ( and letting us kip on her living room floor). She remained a great friend to all of us, heaven has definitely gained an angel in her I personally thank her for showing me courage, faith, friendship, how to dance on tables, sing loud, drink lots, dressing techniques, nursing care, stand up for what I believe. She was that nurse with the superhero cape........... All my love until our paths cross again, Katie, Dave, Molly, George and Jack XXXXX
