GRAHAM ANKERS It is with broken hearts that the family of Graham Ankers (born in Manchester) announce that he passed away peacefully at the Royal Bolton Hospital, on 11 September 2020, at the age of 86. Forever in the hearts of his beloved wife Patricia, his children, David, Paula, John and Donna and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. The original founder of Farnworth Snooker Club alongside his late father and late brother. A forward thinker; he was the founder of the Farnworth Area Pool League and it was his foresight which saw the first females playing in the league; at a time when women were banned from the vault. Funeral service to take place on Thursday 24th September 2020 at East Lancashire Crematorium at 1.30pm. Family flowers only please.
