JOSEPH BURKE Joseph Burke passed away peacefully on the 5th October 2020 at the age of 80. Loving & devoted husband to the late Marie Burke, Brother to Gerard, William and the late John Burke. Father to Jane, Elizabeth & Michael. Father in Law to Martin, Mark and Vanessa, Grandfather to Philomena, Rose, Harry, Edward, Emily, Joseph, William, April and Marie. Much loved Uncle, Brother in Law and friend to many. There will be a private family requiem mass on Tuesday 20th at St Mary's RC church in Horwich, followed by internment at Ridgemont Cemetery due to Covid restrictions. Jane, Elizabeth and Michael, I was so sad to read about your dad and I know my mum, Monica Spencer, would have been too. He and your mum, were such very lovely people and I have many happy memories of both of them.

Lots of happy memories never to be forgotten. Joe was such a wonderful man who never failed to make me laugh and smile whenever I was in his company. He loved his family so much and will be greatly missed. Thinking of you all at his very sad time. God bless Joe, rest in peace.

This is so sad, Joe was a lovely man and we had some wonderful chats when we crossed paths walking our dogs, always very polite and sincere and a true family man. He'll be sadly missed, my sympathies to the family.
