DIANE BIRD (Nee BRANKLEY) Of Farnworth. On 6th November, 2020, passed away peacefully at home with her husband and son by her side after a brave battle with cancer, aged 76 years. Much loved wife of 55 years to Scott, mum to Steve & Lindsay (& Paul who was born sleeping), grandma (gandma) to Charlotte and sister to David. Always in our hearts. Will be sorely missed and remembered for her passion for helping rescued animals and her love of dancing. A service will be held at Howe Bridge Crematorium, Atherton on Thursday 26th November by invitation only. Family flowers only. Donation detail requests (to the animal charities she supported) and all enquiries to be addressed to Co-op Funeralcare, Farnworth 01204 573280.
