BRENDA WHENLOCK (Née Cross) Peacefully at home on December 26th 2020, after a short illness, aged 77. Devoted and dearly loved wife of Brian, adored mother to Shirley, Catherine, Martin and Michael. Much loved mother-in-law to Peter, Stephen, Vicki and Deborah. Cherished grandma of Louis, Holly and Max. Beloved sister, auntie, cousin, and a true friend to many. She will be missed by all who knew her. Always so loving, thoughtful, funny and kind, what beautiful memories you leave behind. You may have left this world behind, But you will never leave our hearts and mind. Requiem mass will take place at St Augustine's, Thicketford Road, Tonge Moor on Thursday 14th January 2021 at 10.30am and then interment at Heaton Cemetery at 11.30am. Brian and the family would especially like to thank the care and support given by the district nurses, Hospice at Home, Macmillan, Marie Curie and Orchard Home Care. Very sadly due to Coronavirus restrictions, attendance is by invitation. Family flowers only, donations if so desired will be gratefully received by Cancer Research, Bolton Hospice, Macmillan or Marie Curie.
