CHRISTOPHER ALAN BOARDMAN Suddenly on 6th February 2021, Chris BOARDMAN, ("Bidders"), aged 40, passed away whilst jogging near his home in Woolwich Township, New Jersey, USA. He was the devoted husband of Jill and adoring daddy of Oliver, aged 7 and Lucy, aged 6. Growing up in Bromley Cross, Chris was the loving and beloved son of Alan and Frances Boardman, caring brother to Jane (& Michael) Dawn (&Wil) (Canada) and David (&Jessica), as well as a fond uncle to Libby, Daisy, Grace, Bradley and Barney. He attended Walmsley primary school and Turton High School before studying at Sunderland and Liverpool universities. Chris was a true, loyal and much valued friend to countless people on both sides of the Atlantic and beyond, and is greatly missed. The funeral took place on 12th February and although it was not possible for his family in the UK and Canada to attend, they were able to take a full part in the funeral service via a live video link.
