PARKINSON Richard Peacefully passed away on the 4th day of November 2021 in his 97th year. Devoted husband and carer to wife Margaret. Father to Carrol and Sheila, and much-loved grandad and great grandad. Also, father-in-law, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was an active member of the Parachute Regiment during WW2 and was presented with the Légion d'Honneur medal from France in recognitions of his service. "A Life Well Lived" The funeral service will take place on Monday 22nd of November 2021, in Overdale Crematorium East Chapel at 11:15am. No flowers by request.
