ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (MANCHESTER RD & RICHMOND ST, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2020 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding as follows:-

1) Southbound on Manchester Rd, Bury - between Wellington Rd & Parkhills Rd



2) Richmond St, Bury - between Manchester Rd & Walker St



The reason for the proposed order is to enable water main connection works. The alternative routes will be>

1) Via Wellington Rd, Market St & Parkhills Rd



2) Via Wellington Rd, Market St, Parkhills Rd & Walker St & vice versa



The Order comes into operation on Saturday 15/02/20 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately one week. Dated 13 February 2020 Council Solicitor

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (SIDE ROADS OFF WALMERSLEY RD, RAMSBOTTOM) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2020 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Side Roads off Walmersley Rd, Ramsbottom - between no. 953 & the M66 motorway bridge - including Bass Ln

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The alternative route will be via Manchester Rd, Bury New Rd, Bridge St, Bolton St, Bolton Rd West, Longsight Rd & Newcombe Rd & vice versa. The Order comes into operation on 13/02/20 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 3 weeks.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (WHITEFHCLD ROAD, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2020 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding as follows:-

Whitefield Road, Bury - between Redvales Road and Keswick Drive (east side of verge)

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway remedial works.

The alternative route will be via Whitefield Road (west side of verge).

The Order comes into operation on Wednesday 19 February 2020 and shall remain

in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the

works is approximately 2 weeks.
