The Definitive Map and Statement Of Public Rights Of Way For Leigh The Wigan Borough Council (Public Footpath No. 207a, Leigh) Definitive Map Modification Order 2020
The above Order made on 1st September 2020, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to them the footpath from Sandy Pool Farm, Timperley Lane at Point A, grid reference 367238 398846, as shown on the Order Map, running for approximately 480 metres or thereabouts in a south easterly then easterly direction along a former farm track to its junction with Public Footpath Leigh No. 209 at Point B, grid reference 367688 398730, as shown on the Order map. The path will be known as Public Footpath No. 207A, Leigh. It will have a minimum width of 2 metres. This Order replaces the Order made on 10th November 2017 and advertised on 23rd November 2017 and the Order made on 22nd November 2018 and advertised on 29th November 2018 both of which were invalid.

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Assistant Director - Legal, Wigan Borough Council, Town Hall, Library Street, Wigan, WN1 1YN not later than 26th October 2020 quoting reference: RD/LS/SW/CL43.117. Applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, Wigan Borough Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order, or that part of it. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, in whole or in part, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn, will be sent with it.
