THE CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH (PART) 8 BEESTON) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2021
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council proposes to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on that length of Public Footpath 8 Beeston commencing on the existing footpath at OSGR SJ 5516 5962 and running in a generally North Easterly direction for approximately 222 metres to a point on the existing footpath at OSGR SJ 5525 5982
The closure is necessary because works are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath. The Order will come into operation on 3 June 2021 and will continue in force for a period of six months. There is an alternative footpath. This order does not prevent any pedestrians with access to premises situated on or adjacent to the public footpaths only accessible from the path or by any emergency vehicle
