THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (ALBERT ST, RAMSBOTTOM, BASS LN, SUMMERSEAT, MOORWAY/GREENSIDE CLOSE, HAWKSHAW, TOR AVE, WESTGATE AVE, GREENMOUNT, BUCKINGHAM DR, BURY, BURY OLD RD, ARTHUR LN, AINSWORTH) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Counril of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

1) Albert St, Ramsbottom

2) Bass Ln, Summerseat

3) Moorway/Greenside CI, Hawkshaw, Bury

4) Tor Ave, Greenmount, Bury

5) Westgate Ave, Greenmount, Bury

6) Buckingham Dr, Bury

7) Bury Old Rd, Ainsworth

8) Arthur Ln, Ainsworth

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works The alternative routes will be via:-
1) Rostron Rd & Victoria St & vice versa

2) Walmersley Rd, Manchester Rd, Bury New Rd, Peel Brow, Bridge St, Bolton St, Bolton Rd West, Longsight Rd, Newcombe Rd, Peel Hall Rd, Railway St, Rowlands Rd & Crag Ln & vice-versa

3) N/A

4) Holcombe Rd & North Ave & vice-versa

5) Longsight Rd, Brooklands Rd & Kendal Rd West & vice-versa

6) Bolton Rd & Newham Dr & vice-versa

7) Arthur Ln, Stiteh-Mi-Ln, Newby Rd, Deepdale Rd, Red Ln & vice-versa

8) Bury Old Rd, Red Ln, Deepdale Rd & Winchester Way & vice-versa

The Order comes into operation on 13/09/21 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works at each location is for approximately 1 to 3 weeks during the closure period. Dated 09/09/21 Council Solicitor

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (MILLETT ST, BURY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING)(AMENDMENT) ORDER 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council proposes to make the above named Order under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to replace current limited waiting restrictions with the Introduction of No Waiting at Any time which includes an amendment of a previous order.
Introduction of No Waiting at any time
Millett St, Bury - West side, from a point 104m north of the projected southerly kerbline of Tenterden St for a distance of 25m in a northerly direction The Limited Waiting for 1 hour, return prohibited within 1 hour, Monday to Friday 9.30am-4.30pm on West side, from the projected southerly kerbline of Tenterden Street for a distance of 111 metres in a northerly direction will be deleted from The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (Tenterden Street Area, Bury Prohibition of Waiting) (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading/Unloading) and (Limited Waiting) Order 2008 & amended to Millett St, Bury - West side, from the projected southerly kerbline of Tenterden St for a distance of 104m in a northerly direction Details of the proposals are in the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within them) with plans showing the roads and areas affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Orders. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (BRIDLEWAY NO.67 GIGG MILLS BRIDGE/ROCH VALLEY GREENWAY, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists & horses from proceeding along:-Bridleway no. 67 Gigg Mills Bridge/Roch Valley Greenway, Bury - from the junction with Redmere Dr for a distance of approx. 200m in an easterly direction The temporary closure is to maintain public safety as the bridge is unsafe for public use & in anticipation of refurbishment works
The diversion route is via Footpath 68, Bury, Manchester Rd, Hollins Ln, Croft Ln, Pilsworth Rd & Roach Bank Rd & vice versa
The Order comes into operation on 09/09/21 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration is 6 months & it is likely an extension will be required for completion of the refurbishment works Dated 09/09/21
