(LEGEND FIRES, NORTH WEST STAGES CAR RALLY, BOWLAND WITH LEAGRAM, RIBBLE VALLEY BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, PROHIBITION OF STOPPING, WAITING AND LOADING) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Temporarily prohibit all traffic (except for access) from proceeding over those lengths of road set out in Schedule 1 to this Order;

2. Temporarily prohibit all traffic from proceeding over those lengths of road set out in Schedule 2 to this Order;

3. Temporarily prohibit the waiting of vehicles in the lengths of road set out in Schedules 1 and 2 to this Order;

4. Temporarily prohibit the waiting of vehicles for the purposes of loading or unloading in the lengths of road set out in Schedules 1 and 2 to this Order;

5. Temporarily prohibit the stopping of vehicles in the lengths of road set out in Schedules 1 and 2 to this Order.

An alternative route for traffic affected by the closure may be set out in column 3 of the schedules to this Order.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to Permit Holders, Participants or Officials of the Legend Fires, North West Stages Car Rally 2022.
Pedestrian access to premises on or adjacent to the road will be facilitated at safe intervals and will be escorted by an Official on site.
The Police, Fire and Ambulance Services have been informed and are exempt from the restrictions contained herein.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to facilitate the holding of the Legend Fires, North West Stages Car Rally 2022.
The prohibition will be operative from 0700 hours until 1900 hours on Saturday 19th March 2022.
