All representations whether in support or objecting to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made must be made in writing and sent to the Head of Engineering, 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 OEJ or preferably by email to traffic calmingtaburv.gov.uk quoting ref: TM23/11/254 by 7th April 2022.Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (SANDY LANE, PRESTWICH) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2022 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
Sandy Lane, Prestwich - between Knowle Dr & Ladythorne Ave
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate manhole cover & frame
replacement works.
The alternative route will be via Hilton Lane, Butterstile Lane and Agecroft Rd West and vice-versa.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Tuesday 29 March 2022 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is 1 day. Dated 17 March 2022
