THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.071 HORWICH) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO. ) ORDER 2017
The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice.
The effect of which will be operative from 3rd April 2017 and will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath 071 Horwich commencing from Wimborn Close; point A at grid reference SD 365987 410285 in a generally north east by easterly direction to point B; Wilson Fold Farm at grid reference SD 366095 410355 as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1Hor071 over a total distance of approximately 130 metres. An alternative route is available commencing from PublicFootpath Horwich 071; pointAat grid reference SD 365987 410285, then Horwich 078, Chorley New Road, Fall Birch Road, High Rid Lane; Horwich 066; Horwich 067; point B at grid reference SD 366095 410355 as shown by the blue line with the arrowheads on the Order plan 1Hor071. The Order is necessary to facilitate culvert inlet replacement work, and will continue for a period of 4 weeks from the 3rd April 2017, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. NOTICE OF INTENDED DISPOSAL OF AREA OF OPEN SPACE
Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of Bolton ("the Council") intends to dispose of its interest in land that includes an area of open space at the following location: Land at Queen Street, Bolton, BL1 1EZ
A plan showing the area to be included in the disposal can be inspected during regular opening hours at the One Stop Shop, the Town Hall, Bolton BL1 1RU. Any objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to Helen Gorman, Borough Solicitor, Bolton Council, Legal Services Town Hall, Bolton BL1 1RU, or by e-mail to legal.services@bolton.gov.uk bearing the reference LS/VT/BE/072323 by no later than 10th April 2017.
All objections received will then be considered by the Council.

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, its effect,
which will be operative from 3rd April 2017, will be as follows:

Hough Fold Way - South-west side - From a point 15 metres south-east of the extended south-easterly kerbline of Croft Gate, in a northwesterly direction, to a point 15 metres north-west of the extended north-westerly kerbline of Croft Gate.
Hough Fold Way - South-west side - From a point 15 metres north-west of the extended north-westerlykerbline ofLongsightLane, toapoint15metressouth-eastofthe extended south-easterly kerbline of Longsight Lane.
CroftGate-Both sides -From the extended south-westerlykerbline ofLongsightLane for a distance of 15 metres in a south-westerlydirection.
Longsight Lane - Both sides - From a point 15 metres northeast of the extended north-easterly kerbline of Hough Fold Way in a south easterly direction to a point 15 metres south west of the extended south westerly kerbline of Hough Fold Way. Bluebell Close - Both sides - From the extended north-easterly kerbline of Hough Fold Wayfor a distance of 15 metres in a north-easterlydirection.
Bluebell Close - Both sides - From the north-east point of its cul-de-sac end, in a south-easterly direction for 6 metres, and in a south-westerly direction for 17 metres, including the turning head south-easterly side.
Poppy Close - Both sides - From its south-westerly end (at its south-western cul-de-sac) for a distance of 8 metres in a north-easterly direction.
PoppyClose-Both sides -From itsnorth-easterlyend (atits north-eastern cul-de-sac) for a distance of 10 metres in a south-westerly direction.

Anybody wishing to question the Order's provisions or validity may, within six weeks from the 27th March 2017, applytothe High Courtfor this purpose.
