THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 THE BOLTON (BOLTON CIVIC SUNDAY PARADE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES, SUSPENSIONS AND HACKNEY CARRIAGE STANDS) (NO.40) ORDER 2017 The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, operative from 21 May 2017, which will enable The Bolton Civic Sunday Parade to take place between approx 7am and 4pm on this date. During this period all vehicles not engaged in the event will be prohibited and or restricted from being in, or entering, proceeding, standing, waiting, loading and or unloading, or otherwise remaining at rest in the locations specified below.

ROAD CLOSURES - Howell Croft North: from Bk Deansgate and Howells Yard to Le Mans Crescent; Le Mans Crescent: from Howell Croft North to Howell Croft South; Howell Croft South: from Le Mans Crescent to Ashburner St; Ashburner St: from Howell Croft South to Queen St; Victoria Square North: from

Howell Croft North to Old Hall St; Old Hall St: from

Victoria Square North to its cul-de-sac end; Victoria Square South: from Howell Croft South to Coronation St; Coronation St: from Victoria Square for 72m in a southerly direction; Deansgate: from Knowsley St to Churchgate; Churchgate: from Deansgate to Silverwell St; Silverwell St: from Churchgate to Princess St.

SUSPENSIONS - This Order will temporarily suspend:

ONE WAY TRAFFIC - Blackhorse St: Ashburner St to Deansgate.

CONTRAFLOW BUS LANE - Blackhorse St: Deansgate to Ashburner St.

HACKNEY CARRIAGE STANDS - Howell Croft North (both east & west sides).

TEMPORARY HACKNEY CARRIAGE STANDS TO BE ESTABLISHED - Deansgate: from 14m west of Howell Croft North for 25m in a westerly direction; Deansgate: from 60m west of Howell Croft North for 20m in a westerly direction.

This Order may, at the discretion of the Council, also suspend the operation of on-street parking places situated within the areas of the closures affected by the above event. The Order will cease to have effect at 16:00 on 21 May 2017 or on completion of the event whichever first occurs.
