THE M62 MOTORWAY (JUNCTIONS 9-8 WESTBOUND CARRIAGEWAY) [TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 09346363) intends to make an Order on the M62 Motorway in the Borough of Warrington, in the County of Cheshire, to enable general maintenance to be carried out in safety.
The Order will impose a 50 mph speed restriction on the westbound carriageway of the M62 Motorway, from the first point where the M62 westbound Junction 9 entry slip road joins the carriageway, to a point 1450 metres east of the centreline of the Junction 8 eastern overbridge (Airfield East). The restriction is expected to take place during a continuous period starting at 2000 hours on Tuesday 19 September 2017 and ending at 2359 hours on Tuesday 12 December 2017. However, work may start and continue beyond these dates until completed. The restriction will not apply to emergency services or special-forces vehicles, and will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
