THE BOLTON (REGULATION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2015 (CHAPLETOWN ROAD, BROMLEY CROSS, TURTON) (AMENDMENT) (NO.) ORDER 2017The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, its effect will be as follows:- Deletions: No Waiting at Any Time Turton: Hillside Avenue (southern side) - both sides - from its junction with Chapeltown Road for a distance of 15 meters in an easterly direction; Additions: No Waiting At Any Time: Turton: Chapeltown Road – east side - from a point 15 metres north of its junction with the unnamed access road leading to Eagley Junior School to a point 15 metres north of its junction with Holkar Meadows; Hillside Avenue (southern end) - north side - from its junction with Chapeltown Road to a point 15 metres east of the extended easterly kerb-line of Chapeltown Road; Hillside Avenue (southern end) – south - from its junction with Chapeltown Road to a point 19 metres east of the extended easterly kerb-line of Chapeltown Road; Hillside Avenue (northern end ) - both sides - from its junction with the extended easterly kerbline of Chapeltown Road for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction; Grange Road –west side- of the kerbline encompassing the traffic island at its junction with Shady Lane; Grange Road – south side - from its junction with Shady Lane for a distance of 22 metres in an easterly direction; Grange Road – south side - from a point 58 metres east of its junction with Shady Lane for a distance of 119 metres in an easterly direction; Shady Lane – east side - from a point 144 metres north of Turton Road to its junction with Grange Road; Holkar Meadows - both sides - from its junction with Chapeltown Road to a point 15 metres east of the extended easterly kerb-line of Chapeltown Road; Guild Street - both sides - from its junction with Darwen Road to its junction with Back Darwen Road North; Guild Street - both sides - from its junction with Darwen Road to its junction with Queens Avenue; Darwen Road - both sides - from a point 15 metres east of its intersection with the extended eastern kerbline of Guild Street to a point 15 metres west of its intersection with the extended western kerbline of Guild Street; Unnamed Access Road Leading to Eagley Junior School - both sides - from a point 15 metres west of its intersection with the extended western kerbline of Chapeltown Road for a distance of 75 metres in a westerly direction; No waiting 9:00am to 3:00pm (Monday to Friday) Turton: Chapeltown Road east from a point 15 metres south of its junction with the unnamed access road leading to Eagley Junior School to a point 28 metres north of its junction with Hillside Avenue (southern end); Grange Road south from a point 22 metres east of its junction with Shady Lane for a distance of 36 metres in an easterly direction; Grange Road north from its junction with Shady Lane for a distance of 56 metres in an easterly direction; Grange Road north from a point 80 metres east of its junction with Shady Lane for a distance of 83 metres in an easterly direction; Shady Lane east from its junction with Grange Road to its junction with Higher Shady Lane; Higher Shady Lane south from its junction with Shady Lane for a distance of 5 metres in a north easterly direction; The draft Orders, plans and reasons for the proposal may be viewed online at www.bolton.gov.uk/trafficorders or at Highways and Engineering Division, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton BL1 1UA, during office hours. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 083 BLACKROD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.30 ) ORDER 2017
The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, which will be operative on the 20th October 2017 which will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath No.083 Blackrod commencing from Blackrod By-Pass; point A at grid reference SD 361867 410995 in a generally north-east by northerly direction to point B at grid reference SD 362024 411189 as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1Bla083 over a total distance of approximately 257 metres. No alternative route will be available. The Order is necessary to facilitate the construction of a new footbridge and will continue for 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 078 BLACKROD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.31) ORDER 2017
The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, which will be operative on the 20th October 2017 which will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath No.078 Blackrod commencing from Chorley Road; point A at grid reference SD 361209 411155 in a generally north easterly direction to point B at grid reference SD 361287 411222; as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1Bla078 over a total distance of approximately 117 metres. An alternative route will be available commencing from Public Footpath Blackrod 078; point A at grid reference SD 361209 411155, then Chorley Road, Nightingale Road; Thirlmere Road; point B at grid reference SD 361287 411222 as shown by the blue line with arrowheads on the Order plan 1Bla078.
