NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
THE BBBOUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON (RESTRICTED DYWAY NO. 390 DOLTON) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2018
On 21st March 2018 the Borough Council of Bolton confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act and under section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert
Restricted Byway No. 396 Bolton situated within the former Cutacre Open Cast mining site, South of the A6, Salford Road, Bolton (Employment Zone) commencing from point A at grid reference SD369793 404629 in a generally south-south westerly direction to point B at grid reference SD369791.79 404621.81 for a distance of approximately 8 metres then in a generally south by easterly direction to point C at grid reference SD369803 404499 for a distance of approximately 123 metres as shown by the continuous bold black line between points A-B-C on the Order Plan over a total distance of approximately 131 metres of a width of 3 metres throughout.
The new line will commence from point A at grid reference SD369793 404629 in a generally south-south westerly direction to point D at grid reference SD369791.15 404621.72 for a distance of approximately 8 metres then running in a generally southerly direction to point E at grid reference SD369798 404504 for a distance of approximately 118 metres then running in a generally south easterly direction to point C at grid reference SD369803 404499 for a distance of approximately 7 metres as shown by the bold black broken line between points A-D-E-C on the Order Plan over a total distance of approximately 133 metres. The width between points A-D-E-C will be 3 metres throughout over a limestone surface.
The definitive map and statement shall be modified accordingly.
A copy of the confirmed Order and Plan may be inspected free of charge at the One Stop Shop, Town Hall, Bolton during office hours. Copies of the Order and Plan may be purchased.
The Order will come into force on the date the Order is certified as complied with by the Council but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or a provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 30th March 2018 make application to the High Court

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) THE BOLTON (RESTRICTED BYWAY BOLTON 390) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (H0.38) ORDER 2018
The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, which will be operative on 30th March, 2018.
The effect will be to prohibit both vehicular and pedestrian traffic from entering, proceeding or waiting on Restricted Byway Bolton No. 396 situate within the former Cutacre Open Cast mining site, South of the A6, Salford Road, Bolton (Employment Zone) commencing from point A at grid reference SD 396793 404629 in a generally south by easterly direction to point B at grid reference SD 369828 404241 as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1 Bol396 over a total distance of approximately 390 metres. No alternative route is available.
The Order is necessary to enable preparatory ground works for proposed additional vehicle access from plot E1. The Order will be operative from 30th March, 2018 for 6 months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
