THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON THE BOLTON (REGULATION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2015 (CHAPLETOWN ROAD, BROMLEY CROSS, TURTON) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 8) ORDER 2018
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, its effect, which will be operative from 28th May, 2018 will be as follows: Deletions:
No Waiting at Any Time Turton:
Hillside Avenue (southern side) - both sides - from its junction with Chapeltown Road for a distance of 15 meters in an easterly direction; Additions:
No Waiting At Any Time: Turton:
Chapeltown Road - east side - from a point 15 metres north of its junction with the unnamed access road leading to Eagley Junior School to a point 15 metres north of its junction with Holkar Meadows;
Hillside Avenue (southern end) - north side - from its junction with Chapeltown Road to a point 15 metres east of the extended easterly kerb-line of Chapeltown Road;
Hillside Avenue (southern end) - south - from its junction with Chapeltown Road to a point 19 metres east of the extended easterly kerb-line of Chapeltown Road;
Hillside Avenue (northern end ) - both sides - from its junction
with the extended easterly kerbline of Chapeltown Road for a
distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction;
Grange Road -west side- of the kerbline encompassing the
traffic island at its junction with Shady Lane;
Grange Road - south side - from its junction with Shady Lane for
a distance of 22 metres in an easterly direction;
Grange Road - south side - from a point 58 metres east of its
junction with Shady Lane for a distance of 119 metres in an
easterly direction;
Shady Lane - east side - from a point 144 metres north of Turton Road to its junction with Grange Road;
Holkar Meadows - both sides - from its junction with Chapeltown Road to a point 15 metres east of the extended easterly kerb-line of Chapeltown Road;
Guild Street - both sides - from its junction with Darwen Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction; Guild Street - both sides - from its junction with Darwen Road for a distance of 15 metres in a south westerly direction; Darwen Road - both sides - from a point 15 metres east of its intersection with the extended eastern kerbline of Guild Street to a point 15 metres west of its intersection with the extended western kerbline of Guild Street;
Unnamed Access Road Leading to Eagley Junior School - both sides - from a point 15 metres west of its intersection with the extended western kerbline of Chapeltown Road for a distance of 75 metres in a westerly direction;
Private Access Road between Newholme and Lower House Farm - both sides - from the end of the unnamed access road leading to Eagley Junior School or its entire length excluding the entrance to lower House Farm, ower House Barn and Saundersfoot House;
No waiting 9:00am to 3:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Turton:
Chapeltown Road east from a point 15 metres south of its junction with the unnamed access road leading to Eagley Junior School to a point 28 metres north of its junction with Hillside Avenue (southern end);
Grange Road south from a point 22 metres east of its junction with Shady Lane for a distance of 36 metres in an easterly direction;
Grange Road north from its junction with Shady Lane for a
distance of 56 metres in an easterly direction;
Grange Road north from a point 80 metres east of its junction
with Shady Lane for a distance of 83 metres in an easterly
direction;
Shady Lane east from its junction with Grange Road to its junction with Higher Shady Lane;
Higher Shady Lane south from its junction with Shady Lane for a distance of 5 metres in a north easterly direction; A copy of the Order, plans and statement of the reasons may be viewed at Highways and Engineering Division, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton, during office hours (by appointment tel. 01204 336677).
Anybody wishing to question the Order's provisions or validity may, within six weeks from the 17th May, 2018 apply to the High Court for this purpose.

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND
STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 / WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH N0.43 TURTON BRADSHAW SOUTH (PART)) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2018
On the 16 May 2018, the Borough Council of Bolton confirmed the above Order, made under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and under section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert:
Public Footpath No. 043 Turton Bradshaw South which lies within the former Bolton Open Golf Club site on the west side of Longsight Lane, Harwood, Bolton, BL2 4JX commencing from point A off Longsight Lane at grid reference SD373939 411458 in a generally south westerly direction to point B at grid reference SD373930 411446 for a distance of approximately 14m then running in a generally south west by westerly direction to point C at grid reference SD373871 411400 for a distance of approximately 76m as shown by the continuous bold black line between points A-B-C on the Order Plan over a total distance of approximately 90m and at a width of 1.5m throughout. The new line will commence from point A off Longsight Lane at grid reference SD373939 411458 leading in a generally south by easterly direction to point D at grid reference SD373943 411437 for a distance of approximately 22m then running in a generally west south westerly direction to point C at grid reference SD373871 411400 for a distance of approximately 82m as shown by the bold black dashes between points A-D-C on the Order Plan over a total distance of approximately 104m. The width between points A-D-C will be 1.8m throughout over a stone surface.
The definitive map and statement shall be modified accordingly. A copy of the confirmed Order and plan may be inspected free of charge at the One Stop Shop, Bolton Council, Town Hall, Bolton during office hours. Copies of the Order and Plan may be purchased.
The Order will come into force on the date the Order is certified as complied with by the Council but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or a provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act.

NOTICE OF MAKING A PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 / WILDLIFE AND
COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 068 HORWICH (PART)) PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2018
The above Order, made on the 16th May 2018, under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 and under section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by extinguishing part of Public Footpath 068 Horwich as follows:
Public Footpath No. 068 Horwich situated within the vicinity of the properties known as Higher Wilson Fold Farm and Joli Brook Barn, High Rid Lane, Lostock, Bolton, BL6 4LH commencing from the junction with public footpath 069 Horwich point A at grid reference SD366085 410371 in a generally north easterly direction to its junction with public footpath 187 Horwich point B at grid reference SD366132 410416 as shown by the continuous bold line between points A-B on the Order Plan over a total distance of approximately 66m and at a whole width of 1.5m throughout.
A copy of the Order and plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the One Stop Shop, Town Hall, Bolton during office hours. Copies of the Order and Plan may be purchased. Any representations about or objections to the Order should be sent in writing to Nicola Raby, Legal Services, Town Hall, Bolton, BL1 1RU or Nicola.Raby@bolton.gov.uk not later than 28th June 2018. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
