ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (FACTORY STREET, RAMSBOTTOM) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Factory Street, Ramsbottom - between Ramsbottom Lane and Paradise Street.

The reason for the proposed order is to fecilitate the delivery of a crawler crane and

to enable sewer connection works to be carried out.

The alternative route will be via Crow Lane, Bridge Street and Ramsbottom Lane and vice-versa.

The Order comes into operation on Monday 24 September 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 3 weeks. Dated 20 September 2018 Council Solicitor

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (FOOTBRIDGE 112, CROSMOOR FOOTBRIDGE, RAMSBOTTOM) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State has approved that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury may continue in force until 15 September 2019 the above Order which was made on IS March 2018 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which is as follows:-

To prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along Public Footbridge Number 112 (Crosmoor Footbridge), Ramsbottom.

The reason for the extension of the closure is due to failure of the bridge structure. An extension of the closure is required to allow for further ground investigation works and consideration of design options, with the works to be tendered. Dated 20 September 2018 Council Solicitor

Rolling closure to side roads along A58 Bolton Road, Bury from at its junction with Ivy Road/Deardens Street to Crostons Road/Un-named access road (Bridge Trading Estate).

The reason the proposed order is in place to enable resurfacing of Bolton Road in a safe and practical manner.

Suitable diversion routes will be signed on site where applicable. Emergency access will be maintained if required, access will be available for residents in an evening and early morning.

The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday 24-September-2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, (Anticipated duration of works -8 weeks)
