ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (BRANDLESHOLME ROAD (SH)E STREETS), BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Brandlesholme Road (side streets), Bury - Temporary Road Closure

Rolling closure to side streets along Brandlesholme Road, Bury from its junction

with Burrs Close to its junction with Springsidc View.

Roads to be temporarily closed: Burrs Close/Garside Hey Road/Swanage Close/Birks Drive/Springside View

The closure is in place to enable resurfacing of carriageway in a safe and practical manner.

Suitable diversion routes will be signed on site where applicable. Emergency access will be maintained if required, access will be available for residents in an evening and early morning.

The proposed Order will come into operation on Sunday 26-May-2019 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 2 months, (Anticipated duration of works - 4 weeks).

Eliza Street temporary closure from the junction of Bury New Road to its Junction with Peel Brow.

The closure is in place to enable resurfacing of carriageway in a safe and practical manner.

A copy of the Order which comes into operation on Monday 27th May 2019, a plan showing the roads and areas affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 OEJ during normal office hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks of 27th May 2019 apply to the High Court for that purpose.
