Jack is a senior reporter covering local stories across the borough for The Bolton News, a role he has held since February 2024.

He has an NCTJ Gold Standard Diploma in Journalism and a Distinction in the senior National Qualification in Journalism. He has been shortlisted for two NCTJ Awards for Excellence for his coverage, in Data Journalism and Community Journalism.

Jack covers a range of stories, focussing on crime, court, the environment, LGBT+ issues, active travel, local councils, and more.

He was previously a Meta Community Reporter covering stories for The Oldham Times from February 2022 until the end of January 2024.
