WITH regard to the Ruth Kelly rumpus, I personally couldn't care less what school she sends her children to.
What riles me, though, is that her local authority is Tower Hamlets!
Isn't it about time MPs actually resided in (and, better still, actually came from) the constituency which they were elected to represent?
I always assumed MPs' expenses were paid to cover the cost of attending Westminster from their home constituency.
In some cases, it seems it is the other way round.
How about the people of Bolton ditching "career"politicians (both national and local) and electing independent candidates who actually care about the town?
