FIRST it was gangs of teenagers carrying out callous wrecking sprees of children's graves at Farnworth Cemetery and causing misery to grieving families. Now it is happening all over again - except that this time it is not yobs but dogs.
Kai Atcha died when he was 17-months-old but his family are upset once more after finding his grave has been violated by dogs. They found dog mess next to the grave, flower arrangements messed up and the head ripped off a teddy bear.
This family, and others, have suffered enough and those who visit the cemetery should take the utmost care not to damage other people's graves.
Quite why anyone should think a cemetery is a fit place for their dog to use as a toilet is difficult to comprehend. But in our uncaring modern society that kind of behaviour is par for the course, more's the pity.
