I READ the article in The Bolton News, "Who can fit into a size 4?", February 2, and it really upset me.

I would like to point out that the quote made in the article, "no normal 18-year-old could weigh that much naturally", is untrue.

I am 20-years-old and 5ft 5ins. I weigh 7st 1lb, naturally, and at my lowest I have been 5st 10lb, naturally, at the age of 18.

I have been battling for years to try and put weight on and I am often criticised by people saying, "do you eat"?

Well, I eat so much I feel sick trying to put on weight. I have had different tests at the hospital and I have even had biopsies taken to check if I had cancer, but all the tests have come back normal, and this is just the way my body is, NATURALLY. I have been through a hard time and would just like to stick up for other people out there who are like me.

I am very thankful to Asda who are finally selling clothes that fit me so I no longer have to buy children's clothes.

People shouldn't always judge people who are skinny, and it is harder for skinny people to put weight on than it is for people to lose weight. Also, naturally skinny people feel as depressed as overweight people.

So, thank you Asda for selling size 4 clothes, you have made me feel happier in clothes that actually fit me.

Please print my letter as I would really like to let people out there know that there are naturally skinny people out there who are a size 4.
