I HAVE been a postman in Bolton for 22 years. For the past 20 years I have delivered in the Sharples area, comprising of Eastgrove Avenue, Kermoor Avenue, Craighall Road, Farnborough Road, Springfield Road, Eagley Bank and Barley Brook Meadow.
I have had to finish work on ill health, so I had no chance to say goodbye to my customers.
I would like to take this opportunity to say goodbye, and thank you for your friendship and trust in all those years.
