WELL done to Brian Derbyshire (Letters, April 5), who managed to reply so well to the ridiculous letter from Mr J O'Connor regarding horse riders clearing up after their horses in the way he has to after his dog.
Speaking on behalf of all horse riders, we are grateful to Brian Derbyshire for taking the time to reply, with common sense and humour.
In fact, I am not sure what date Mr O'Connor's letter was published, but there is every chance it was only an April Fool.
