IT would have been nice to keep the new elephants outdoors openly on display. Alas, this is not the case these days.
The money has already been spent replacing the old ones, which I considered to be a waste under the threat of the prevailing yob culture, so we must make the most of the situation.
May I suggest that the two remaining elephants are placed indoors at the newly refurbished Market Place shopping centre.
They can be enjoyed by the public and locked up at the end of the day.
