I WAS recently suddenly taken ill and had a stay in hospital for eight days.
I would like to thank Doctor Hilary Healy and Doctor Christopher Turner of Stonehil Medical Centre, in Piggott Street, Farnworth for their swift action.
I would also like to thank everyone who had contact with me from E4 Ward in the Royal Bolton Hospital during my eight day stay.
This was only the second time in my life that I have been admitted to hospital.
What a dedicated profession you are all in. My stay in hospital was wonderful. the care and attention I was given was excellent.
On E4 they operate two shifts — 8am to 8pm then 8pm to 8am.
Everyone who worked those shifts was superb — a want to praise them so much. They were all so dedicated.
Thank goodness for the NHS.
